Symptoms of Diabetic Kidney Disease

In the early stages, patients with diabetic kidney disease may have no symptoms at all, or may present with foamy urine.In the late stage, symptoms include fatigue, discomfort, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, swelling of the lower extremities, and difficulty breathing.
Common symptoms

Foamy urine (caused by large amounts of protein in the urine)
Edema (swelling)
Frequent urination

Other symptoms
Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, weight loss, itchy skin, insomnia, and even hypoglycemia.
